While supporting baby, fasten the
head support buckle
shoulder strap. Make sure it fastens
with an audible click.
Adjust head support as necessary to
support baby's head.
Repeat on the other side.

Sit down.
Be sure the side entry buckles and the
infant shoulder straps are un-buckled, and
carrier is on your lap. Place baby onto
carrier facing you with legs straddling
carrier.
BE PREPARED FOR BABY'S SUDDEN
MOVEMENT!
While supporting baby's head and back,
carefully raise carrier and baby up toward
your chest.
Fasten the side-entry buckle
Make sure it fastens with an audible click.

Make sure baby is comfortable with
legs fully through leg openings
baby's arms resting above the side-
entry buckle
fit two fingers between the baby's leg
and the leg openings
MAKE SURE ALL BUCKLES ARE
FASTENED SECURELY.
