This manual will show you how to use your Instant Power™ safely and effectively.     INSTANT POWER™ LOCATION RISk OF EXPLOSION AND CONTACT WITH BATTERY ACID. Locate the Instant Power™ as far away from the battery as the DC cables permit. Never place the Instant Power™ directly above the battery being jumped; gases from the battery will corrode and damage the Instant Power™. Do not operate the Instant Power™...

    CHARGING THE INTERNAL BATTERY OF THE INSTANT POWER™ IMPORTANT: CHARGE IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE, AFTER EACH USE AND EVERY 30 DAYS TO kEEP THE INSTANT POWER™ INTERNAL BATTERY FULLY CHARGED. Check the internal battery’s charge level by pressing the Display Button. The Digital Display will show the battery’s percent of charge.

    Determine which post of the battery is grounded (connected) to the chassis. If the negative post is grounded to the chassis (as in most vehicles), see step 6. If the positive post is grounded to the chassis, see step 7. For a negative-grounded vehicle, connect the POSITIVE (RED) clip from the jump starter to the POSITIVE (POS, P, +) ungrounded post of the battery.

    The Instant Power™ light will turn on and illuminate your work area. Press the Light Switch to the OFF position. Charge the Instant Power™ as soon as possible after using the built-in light. 10.6 Using the Air Compressor RISk OF EXPLOSION.     10.11 Powering a 120V AC Device To operate a 120V AC device: Ensure the battery clips are securely on the storage holders. Open the protective cover of the AC power outlet on the front panel of the Instant Power™. Make sure the 120V AC device to be operated is turned OFF. Plug the 120V AC device into the AC power outlet, and turn the Inverter Switch to the ON position.
