Troubleshooting tips

Possible cause
The terminals do not indi-
cate sufficient connection
with the battery.
The device is not charged.
The vehicle battery is
defective.
The fuse is defective.
The battery is defective.
The device battery is not
completely charged.
There is not a sufficient
connections between the
charger and the Power
Start.
Defective battery (does not
charge up any-more).
The charger is in abort
mode.
Remedy
Check whether, the terminals are correctly connect-
ed with the vehicle battery and the vehicle chassis.
Ensure that the connection points are clean (grease
and corrosion free).
Move the clamp back and forth to provide better
contact.
Check the battery charging state by pressing the
button at the front of the device (see section Check
charging state).
Have the battery checked.
Replace the fuse.
Have the battery checked.
Charge the battery until the green LED on the
charger lights up.
