The device must only be opened by
qualified specialist personnel. All per-
sons involved in the commissioning, operation
and maintenance of the device must be appro-
priately qualified.
Store the device out of reach of chil-
dren.
Children ages 8 and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of
experience and/or knowledge may only use
the device if they are supervised by a person re-
sponsible for their safety or receive instructions
on operating the unit and can understand the
resulting hazards.
Children may not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance may not be
performed by children without supervision.
Wear your Personal Protective Equip-
ment (PPE) e.g. suitable safety goggles and
safety clothing.
Determine the on-board voltage of the vehicle
using the manufacturer's instructions and ensure
afterwards that the device emits the appropriate
voltage.
The disassembling or reconstruction of
the device is strictly prohibited due to
safety reasons. Do not modify the enclosed
AC cord or plug. If necessary, have a proper
outlet installed by qualified personnel. Do not
use extension cables. Risk of fire or electric
shock.
Only batteries approved by Würth can be used.
Do not use the device while it is con-
nected to the charger.
Prior to each use ensure that the de-
vice is not damaged.
Do not use the device if it is damaged.

Safety Instructions

Do not use the device if it has received a sharp
blow, has been dropped or damaged in any
way.
For any kind of damage, please provide your
device for inspection and repair, to your Würth
sales representatives, a Würth office or an au-
thorized service centre of Würth.
Ensure sufficient ventilation during the charging
process and during operation and avoid flames
and sparks. Do not smoke in the vicinity of the de-
vice. Risk of explosion from escaping gas.
If you come into contact with the battery fluid,
wash the area immediately with soap and wa-
ter. Upon contact with eyes or mouth, imme-
diately visit a physician. Also observe the
safety instructions of the battery man-
ufacturer.
Protect the device against humidity
and moisture.
Store the unit in an upright position in a cov-
ered, cool and dry place.
Ensure that the battery clamps [9] never touch
or are connected by conductive material.
Do not wear objects made of metal,
e.g. jewellery, when working with the
device. A short-circuit current can be created
by the connection with the battery terminals [9],
which is sufficient to fuse metal. Danger, risk
of severe burn injuries.
Use only original Würth accessories
and spare parts.
