(B.) Handling, Recording Message and Setting Meals
Besides feeding the CALL-O-MATIC also has a special device to record a personal message or sound, max. 6 sec., to get your pet
acquainted to the feeder by recording a familiar voice or command.
Recording the message:
1.)
The master switch must be "ON".
2.)
Press and hold <REC> button while recording – max. 6 sec.
3.)
As long as <REC> button is pressed the <LOW BATT> indicator will be lighted.
4.)
Speak into the microphone <MIC> to be found on the right lower side of the panel.
5.)
By releasing the <REC> button the recording stops – recording stops automatically when the 6 sec. are over.
Now your personal message in a familiar voice or sound is recorded – from now on every meal time this
recording will be played 3 times. (For programming see the following note).
NOTE:
the recording can be changed any time – the momentary recording can be replaced immediately.
Turning the master switch "OFF" does NOT mean the recording will be deleted. The recording will re preserved.
Changing batteries has NO effect on the recording.
Playing the message:
1.)
Press the <PLAY> button shortly
2.)
The recorded message will be played
Concerning the programming of the meals it should be stated only the HOURS can be set and max. 4 meals can be programmed!
For meals 1x a day you can supply food and water for 4 days
For meals 2x a day you can supply food and water for 2 days
For meals 3x a day you can supply food and water for 1 day
For meals 4x a day you can supply food and water for 1 day
You also have the possibility to start feeding the next day – please not the following:
1.)
The master switch on the bottom side should be "ON.
2.)
The correct clock time should be already set (see <set clock time>).
3.)
Press <MODE> button to get to programming the meals.
In the display you will now see the meals (1-4) and on the right hand the meal hour .
By pressing again you will now get to the programming of the meals (1-4).
4.)
Press <SET> button to program the meals - to get to the 4 possible meal times press the <SET> button again.
5.)
As mentioned before only HOUR programming is possible – to set the hours press the <MODE> button until you get to the wanted time.
6.)
By pressing the <MODE> button again you get to the next meal programming.
Now you can program the meals – note the following examples:
For meals 1x a day at the same hour
Meal #1 "13 " – meal #2 "13" – meal #3 "13" – meal #4 "13".
Daily meal at 13:00 hours.
Now the food bowl will rotate 4x at the same hour.
For meals 2x a day at the same hour
Meal #1 "8" – meal #2 "14" – meal #3 "8 – meal #4 "14".
Meals 2x a day at 8:00 and 14:00 hours.
Now the food bowl will rotate 4x at the wanted hour.
For meals 3x a day and 1 meal the next day
Meal #1 "9" - meal #2 "16" – meal #3 "23" – meal #4 "9".
Meals 3x a day at 9:00, 16:00 and 23:00 hours.
A forth meal the next day at 9:00 hours.
Now the food bowl will rotate 4x at the wanted hour.
For meals 4x a day
Meal #1 "7" – meal #2 "12" – meal #3 "17" – meal #4 "22".
Meals 4x a day at 7:00, 12:00, 17:00 and 22:00 hours.
Now the food bowl will rotate 4x at the wanted hour.
To start the meal programming you have two possibilities:
<START NOW> button
Starts the programmed meals IMMEDIATELY.
In case you have recorded a message it will be played.
The food bowl moves and turns to start position.
If you don't want your pet to get the food immediately close slide.
In the right upper side of the display the bell shows.
By pressing the <MODE> button you can check the current programming.
<START NOW> button
Starts the programmed meals NEXT DAY.
In case you have recorded a message it will be played.
The food bowl moves and turns to start position.
If you don't want your pet to get the food immediately close slide.
In the right upper side of the display the bell shows.
