Fastening options
The fastening of the wireless magnetic contacts is ideally achieved using
the supplied adhesive pads.
The contact surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Please pre-
treat the surface with an appropriate cleanser, otherwise the wireless
magnetic contacts can fall off after weeks or months of use and thereby
trigger an unexpected alarm.
Do not use on surfaces at temperature below 15°C.
The adhesive pads reach their final strength after approx. 24 hours.
If mounting with the adhesive pads is not possible (e.g. on a door or
hatch), a screw fastening is also possible. The appropriate marks are
located on the inside of the transmitter housing.
Use of adhesive pads on rough surfaces
(all surfaces other than glass, acrylic glass)
In order to obtain the necessary firmness of the adhesive,
the non-printed side must be adhered to the rough surface in
the vehicle. The printed side must be adhered to the wireless
magnetic contact. Proceed in the same way with the magnet.
In the event of non-observance there is the risk that the
wireless magnetic contacts fall off.
Use of the adhesive pads on glass and acrylic glass windows
(smooth surfaces)
The printed side faces outward in this
case for a deterrent effect.
