2. Safety instructions
Type AM powertools are air motors that have been developed for use in combination with the GEBUWIN worm gear
winches WW1000, WW1500, WW2000, WW3000, WW4000 and WW5000.
The air motor can exclusively be used for the above-mentioned products.
The air motor is not suited for:
- continuous use;
- use in an environment where aggressive and/or explosion hazardous materials are used
Technical changes to the air motor and/or installation of peripherals may only be permitted after the written approval
of Gebuwin B.V.
The operation, installation, any repairs and maintenance of the air motor may only be performed by specialists who:
have been appointed and specialised thereto;

- are trained thereto;
- are familiar with the proper instructions;
- in the case of repairs always use the original parts
2.1. The air motor
The air motor is fitted with a planar worm gear box that converts the high rotational speed to a low rotational speed
with a required torque for the GEBUWIN winches.
The specified air pressure, which is mentioned on the type plate, may never be exceeded.
Never come in contact with moving parts!
Use hearing protection gear and wear gloves when working with the air motor
Before use, always carry out the following inspection:
does the adapter system fit the winch;

- condition of the winch, cable and lifting devices;
- support structure.
The air motor must at least be tested once a year by a specialist.
