Installation Instructions – Galleon LED Floodlight
INSTALLATION
Tools Required
Ratchet, a shallow 3/4" socket and 1/4" hex nut driver.
Adjustable Pole Mount Arm (Figure 1.)
1.
Loosen (3) hex head screws located on arm mounted
on back of the luminaire and carefully set aside the
cover plate and the screws.
2.
Align the two arms and route the wires from luminaire
through the slot of pole side arm.

otee:
Ensure the luminaire supply leads do not get pinched
between the two arms.
3.
Adjust the angle as needed for aiming.

otee:
Do not tilt the luminaire more than 60 degree above
horizontal.
4.
Slide the lock washer and flat washer onto (1) 1/2-13
grade 8 bolt.
5.
Install the bolt through the hole of pole side arm and
tighten into the housing side arm. Tighten to 40 ft-lbs.
6.
Route the wires through the wire tie provided in the
pole side arm and through the wire hole of pole side
arm.
7 .
If installing to round pole use round pole adapter
provided at this point. If mounting to square pole
disregard the round pole adapter. Make sure round pole
adapter draft matches the back side of the arm properly.
8.
Remove pole top cap and place aside.
9.
Install luminaire with arm assembly on the pole with
nut plate provided.
10. Slide lock washer and flat washer onto the (2) 1/2-13
bolts and install the bolts from inside the pole side arm
through the optional round pole adapter and into the
holes of the pole into the nut plate.
11. Tighten (2) 1/2-13 bolts to 40 ft-lbs., while making sure
pole side arm is level to the pole.
12. Make splice connections per next steps while using the
cable clamp provided in nut plate to dress the wires as
needed inside the pole.
13. Connect the supply wires to appropriate luminaire
leads:
Supply side ground wire to green luminaire lead.

Supply side neutral wire to white luminaire lead.
• •
Supply side line voltage wire to black luminaire
