o Wipe the control panel, external surface of the unit and the power cord with a moist
cloth and mild cleaning agent. Water must not get inside the fuse box, as this may lead
to unsafe electrical shortages and damage to the unit.
o Do not use harsh chemicals or scouring agents when cleaning, as they may damage
the deep fryer. Wash the deep fryer with a mild cleaning agent. Stubborn dirt may be
spot soaked in order to remove.
o Dry all elements thoroughly.
o Reassemble the unit.
o If the unit is not to be used for a long period of time, store in a dry place. Protect it from
harsh fumes and gases.

6.3 Safety instructions for maintenance

o Check the mains connection cable for damage from time to time. Never operate the
device when the cable is damaged. A damaged cable must immediately be replaced by
customer service or a qualified electrician to avoid dangers.
o In case of damage or malfunction, please contact your stockist or our customer service
centre. Pay attention to the troubleshooting tips in pt. 7.
o Only a qualified technician and using original spare parts and accessories should carry
out repairs and maintenance of the device. Do not attempt to repair the device
yourself.
