Intended use

This product is designed to protect against excessively high pres-
sure at sealed unvented (pressure-tested) DHW cylinders used in
conjunction with pressure-tested taps.
Any other use beyond that described shall be deemed inappro-
priate. Observation of these instructions as well as of instructions
for the sealed unvented DHW cylinder and its accessories used is
also part of the correct use of this appliance.

Maintenance

Note
During the heat-up process, expansion water will drip
from the safety valve.
Notify your qualified contractor water still drips after the
heat-up process has been completed.
f Regularly activate the safety valve to prevent it from becom-
f
ing blocked, e.g. by limescale deposits. Open the safety valve
2 to 3 times. For this, turn the bleed cap anticlockwise. Water
should then drain into the tundish.
f Never use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents. A damp
f
cloth is sufficient for cleaning the appliance.
