ADJUSTMENT

CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

The cutting height of this 16" (40 cm) reel mower can be adjusted from 51/64" to
1-3/4" (2 to 4.5cm) by moving the height adjustment levers to the desired location.
1.
Release the adjustable nut for roller, then adjust the cutting height with the
fixed rivet.
NOTE: The two height adjustment levers MUST be set at the same height
position.
NOTE: Adjusting the nuts while making blade adjustments is a very sensitive
procedure. A turn of 1/16" (1.5 mm) is considered a major adjustment. Before
tightening one adjustment nut, make sure to adjust the opposite nut by an equal
amount.
WARNING: Do not over-tighten adjustment nuts, as this could damage cutting
bar.
MAINTENANCE
1. Minimum care is required to ensure smooth operation of your mower.
2. To avoid damage to mower or cutting blades, keep area to be mowed free
from debris.
3. For best results, regularly apply lubricant to mower's cutting surfaces,
cutting reel axle shaft and wheels.
WARNING: Carefully clean any debris from the cutting bar or reel blade.
NOTE: Lubricate the axle with a light film of wheel bearing grease if needed.

this tool could invalidate your warranty.
