Put gasket material around top rim of barrel, outside of the bolt holes, again making sure that
there is no gap where the ends meet. Make sure that the housing's outlet is oriented in the
direction that fits your shop layout and the pre-installed nuts are on the underside of the top.
Attach Fan Blower Housing (BHX020005B) to barrel (SXI002108) on floor. Attach barrel with
(8) 5/16 Flange bolts (AFB155175) and (8) 5/16 washers (AFW180000). Attach gasket to top of
blower housing inside of the bolt holes. / Mettez le matériau de joint autour du bord supérieur du

rondelles (AFW180000). Fixez le joint d'étanchéité sur le dessus du carter du ventilateur à l'intérieur des trous des boulons
Assemble Dust Collector to Stand or Wall Bracket:
ONLY APPLIES TO WALL BRACKET (Pg. 10):
With the help of another person, lift the assembled unit up onto the cone, aligning the holes in the bottom of the
barrel with the holes in the cone, making sure you have the barrels inlet in the proper position for your layout.
Attach the unit to the bracket using the (3) 3/8 x 1" Hex bolts (AFS015700) with a washer on top of barrel rim and
a washer below the bracket (AFW190000) and fasten with a whiz nut (AFT000004). Now fasten barrel to cone with
(9) 5/16 bolts (AFB155190) with a washer on top and bottom (AFW180000) and a whiz nut (AFT155175). / Avec l'aide

Put cone (SCX002109) on stand. Now use (8) 5/16" bolts (AFB155190), (8) 5/16" washers (AFW180000), and (8)
5/16" whiz nuts (AFT155175) to attach cone to barrel to stand. Attach the remaining (4) 5/16" bolts (AFB155190),
(4) 5/16" washers (AFW180000) and (4) 5/16" whiz nuts (AFT155175). lMettez le cône (SCX002109) sur le suport.
Maintenant, utilisez (8) boulons de 5/16 "(AFB155190), (8) rondelles de 5/16" (AFW180000) et (8) écrous de 5/16
"(AFT155175) pour fixer le cône au baril sur le support. Fixez les boulons restants (4) 5/16 "(AFB155190), (4) rondelles
5/16" (AFW180000) et (4) écrous 5/16 "(AFT155175).
Attach Motor to Dust Collector:
Attach Motor Plate Assembly (BXI030118C / BXI050118C)) to the blower housing using (7) 5/16 flange bolts
(AFB155175) and washers (AFW180000). The motor is very heavy and cumbersome! Lift only by the handles, never
by the plastic cowling. Be sure to have adequate help to lift it up! Be aware that the handles may have sharp edges.
We suggest extremely careful that you do not pinch any of the wires under the plate. / Attacher ensemble de souf-

Check foam filter on front of cowling regularly to make sure it is clean. When dust accumulates, remove
and vacuum. Do not operate without filter in place. This insures clean cooling air for electronics and mo-
tor./ Vérifiez régulièrement le filtre en mousse sur le devant du capot pour vous assurer qu'il est propre. Lorsque
la poussière s'accumule, enlever et laver à l'eau courante, laisser sécher complètement avant utilisation. Ne pas
utiliser sans filtre en place. Cela assure un air de refroidissement propre pour l'électronique et le moteur.
