IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions must always be
followed, including the following:
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Never leave the iron unattended when connected to the power supply.
2. The cord plug must be removed from the power socket outlet before the
water reservoir is filled with water.
3. The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
4. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the
stand is placed is stable.
5. If the power cord or plug is damaged, please ensure that an authorized
service centre only repairs it in order to avoid a hazard.
6. Do not use the iron if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of
damage or if the iron is leaking.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety and they fully
understand the hazards involved in using this product.
8. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
9. Care must be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam.
10. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs.
11. To protect against electrical shock, never immerse the cord, plug or
appliance in water or other liquid.
12. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or near
children.
13. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow to cool before storing.
14. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Take
the appliance to an authorized service centre for repair, maintenance or
adjustment.
