Fitting car seat using the belt lock.
IMPORTANT: Before fitting the seat remove the schoulder straps, crotch strap and
lap straps and then fit the seat belt as shown in the instructions.
Step 1. Place the child safety seat on the vehicles seat ensuring it is firmly pressed
against the carseat backrest.
Step 2. Place the child in the child safety seat with the seat belt lock in the cild'sd
shoulder.
Step 3. Fasten seat belt, making sure that the lap belt webbing goes under both
armrests and the diagonal belt webbsing goes under the armrest neat the buckle.
Check that the webbing has not become twisted and tighten the seat belt by
pulling the diagonal strap upwards.
Step 4. Feed the diagonal portion of the seat belt through the seat belt lock. and
check that all of the slack has been removed from the seat belt.
Notice: The vehicle seat buckle is not positioned in or in front of the specified
(labelled) belt guide of the child restraint system.Make sure the seat belt has not
become twisted. Also check that the cover is not impending the movement or fit
of the seat belt webbing in any way. To release your child seat follow the above
instructions in reverse order.
