Do not test the emergency function until the battery has been charged for at least 16 hours.
A test button + corresponding indicator are included in the scope of delivery for testing the
battery kit.
Connect the indicator and test button according to the instructions. Fix the LED in the
ceiling. Countersink the test button into a hole in the ceiling (Ø 7 mm) and, if necessary, fix
it with a nut or glue it in place. Pressing the button briefly starts a function test for 5 sec.
Charge the battery at least 5% (30 min). Every 7 days, the emergency lighting unit, the
battery and the LED module are tested with the self-test. Initial test: The test is carried out
automatically 24 hours after the initial installation. Half-year test: The test is carried out
every 180 - 182 days and lasts 5 days.
