3. Information symbols/Explanation of symbols
Symbol Explanations
DANGER! This symbol indicates a dangerous situation, which can result in death or serious
injury. Potential risks are indicated in the following symbols, or explained in the text.
Before connecting the VIGOR induction heater V4891-3.5 to the power supply, make sure that
the voltage of the socket corresponds to the voltage on the type plate. If the voltage does
not correspond to the data on the type plate, this can result in a serious hazard and cause
damage to the induction heater.
Important! Please make sure that the user of this tool carefully reads these operating instruc-
tions and fully understands all the information provided before using the tool for the first time.
The operator is obligated to comply with the operating instructions and to instruct all users of
the VIGOR tool in accordance with the operating instructions!
Note: The VIGOR induction heater V4891- 3.5 is not intended for use in living areas and does not have to ensure corresponding
protection of radio reception in such areas.

Persons with a pacemaker or other electronic surgical implant made of metal
must not work with the induction heater and must maintain a safe distance of at
least 1 m.
During the work do not wear any metal objects, such as jewellery, rings, watches,
chains, ID tags, belt buckles, piercings and clothing with metal parts, such as met-
al studs, buttons and zips etc. - The induction heater can heat up metal objects
very quickly and cause severe burns or can set clothing on fire.
Personal protective equipment: Always wear safety glasses, mouth protection,
protective mask and protective gloves.
