INITIAL SET-UP

WARNING AGAINST ELECTRICAL VOLTAGES
► Only use properly installed power sockets to supply the fence with power. Do
not use converters/inverters to supply power to the device. This may result in
damage to or destruction of the device.
► Make sure that there are no people, children or animals near the fence during
commissioning.
NOTICE
Do not use the device if it is visibly damaged.
1. Check that the VOSS.pet fenci is correctly connected to the fence system (see
section 7.1).
2. Insert the mains plug (5) into the socket and switch on the device using the on/off
switch (1).
The indicator LED (2) flashes in time with the electrical pulses.
VOSS.pet fenci M09: The indicator LED (2) will flash blue to show that the energiser is
working and that the fence voltage is above 3000 volts. If the indicator LED (2) flashes red,
the fence voltage is below 3000 V. Check your fence for possible defects.

If you are operating a boundary fence (e.g. for pets) using the VOSS.pet fenci,
we recommend that you stay near the fence when you activate it for the first
time. Bring your animal near to the fence so that it can learn to respect the
fence. Training may take several days and you may need to make some small
adjustments to the fence.

CLEANING

NOTICE
► Do not use aggressive solvents/detergents, brushes, sharp objects or similar
for cleaning, as they may damage the surface.
► Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. This may otherwise
cause a short circuit.
Use a soft damp cloth to clean the device if it becomes dirty.

MAINTENANCE

This is a low‑maintenance device. Nevertheless, you must perform regular visual
inspections. Always check the device for damage before use. There are no parts inside
the unit that require maintenance.
NOTICE
Do not use the device if it is visibly damaged.
