CAUSES
NO WELDING CURRENT / SWITCH I1 ON / WHITE LAMP OFF
NO WELDING CURRENT / SWITCH I1 ON / YELLOW LAMP ON
NO LOAD VOLTAGE = 0V / STRIKING IMPOSSIBLE
ARC FAILURE DURING WELDING
FAN DOES NOT OPERATE
NO REMOTE CONTROL ADJUSTMENT POSSIBLE

SOLUTIONS
Test for 220V at the lamp terminals
if OK ➮ change L1
Check the voltage and the number of phases
Allow to cool for several minutes until the lamp goes off.
Shunt wires 200 and 214 ⇒ if the lamp goes off change STH1
Check your supply connection
if all this tests above OK ⇒ change IC
Check U ≈ 50V between 11-21 / 21-31 / 31-11
Test rectifier bridge
Check U ≈ 50V between 61-62/62-63/61-63 and 18V ≈ between 60-64 et 60-
65. If OK ⇒ change IC
If the set has a remote control, disconnect it ⇒ check for
adjustment, if not replace IC
Check the recommended currents
Change the fuse if faulty
Shunt wires 101 and U2 (single voltage) / 101 and U3 (multi-
voltage). If the motor does not operate ⇒ check the condenser,
if OK replace the motor
Check 18V ≈ between 60A and 65A. If OK change IC
Shunt 68 and 69. If motor operates, change STH2.
Change it after checking the general condition of the remote
control (control cable, impacts on the case, etc.)
Test it (broken wire, poor contact, etc.).
