- Unscrew the nut up to remove it. Now, the track
will be stretched to the right voltage.
- Replace the washer, the protection thread and nut
closing package, without pulling the spring.

5.3.5 BATTERY

If there is difficulty in turning on the engine, check
the efficiency of the battery (19, Fig. 1) and possibly
contact experienced staff to replace it.

5.4 EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE

The extraordinary maintenance operations that are
not covered in this manual must be carried on only
by the Manufacturer or by specialized beings, author-
ized by it.

5.5 SET-ASIDE

If you intend not to use the machine for a long period,
you must:
- Carry out a thorough cleaning of the entire machine
from any dirt.
- Check the correct tightening of the screws.
- Check and replace the worn or damaged parts.
- Coat any damaged or abraded areas with an anti-
rust product.
- Lubricate/grease all parts subject to wear.
- Empty the tank and the carburetor from the fuel.
- Cover the machine with a towel and put it under
a cover, protected from the weather, frost and
moisture.

5.6 DISMANTLING THE MACHINE

If you decide to dismantle the machine, it will be nec-
essary to separate its components in homogeneous
parts that must be disposed individually in compliance
with the local regulations regarding the disposal of
waste. Dispose of the used lubricants and various
detergents based on their differentiated structure.
WARNING
To dispose of the various components, contact a
legally authorized company that can issue a receipt
on the disposal.

5.7 SPARE PARTS

The spare parts of the engine must be requested
directly to the engine Manufacturer or its licensee.
To request the spare parts of the machine, contact
your local dealer of the Manufacturer.
Finally, please note that the Manufacturer is always
available for any need of assistance and/or spare
parts.

5.8 TROUBLESHOOTING AND REMEDIES

A) The engine will not start. Check:
1) That the fuel level reaches at least half of the tank.
2) That the fuel valve is open.
3) That the accelerator is about halfway; that the
control cable is not broken or disengaged; that the
petrol "air" choke is activated and the off switch
(6 Fig. 5) is in position ON.
4) That the fuel reaches the carburetor.
5) That the vent hole on the tank cap is not blocked.
6) That the mesh filter at the inlet of the carburetor
is clean.
7) That the carburetor jet is clean. To control it,
unscrew it and, if dirty, clean it with a jet of air.
8) That the plug gives spark. To do this check, remove
the spark plug, reconnect it to the cable carrying
to the bridge, place the metal part to ground and
slowly pull the rope of the engine recoil as you want
to start it. If you do not see the spark between the
two electrodes, try to check the connections of the
spark plug wire and if the power does not come
yet, replace the spark plug. If even this replace-
ment does not give effect, the fault is to be found
in the electrical system. It's recommended, at this
point, to contact your nearest service center or a
specialized workshop.
B) The engine has no power:
1) Check that the air filter is clean; possibly remove
the dirt using compressed air.
2) Replace the filter if it is soiled with oil, especially
during transport.
3) Check that the enough petrol reaches the carbure-
tor.
C) The machine goes forward and/or backward while
