Educational value
The Wild Dice Maxi is designed so that the
quantities which are in a constantly changing
arrangement must be detected. In this way the
children learn to realize and determine small
and larger quantities. The simultaneous detec-
tion of quantities is trained. They understand
how a quantity is formed or divided and learn
to have a concrete idea of this. Furthermore,
they learn to combine sub- quantities and to
perform simple mathematical pre-numerical
operations. The game with the Wild Dice Maxi
is an important support especially when lear-
ning the basic arithmetic operations.
It promotes understanding the basics of
mathematics such as the ability to deter-
mine quantities, sizes and lengths.

The Dice
In addition to its use in the therapeutic field,
the dice can also be used in all well-known
dice and board games. On each of the six
sides there is a small "window". Behind every
"window" one to six balls can fall into 16
different indentations when throwing the
dice. Each time the dice is thrown, the pic-
ture of balls changes. In this way, the visual
perception and the ability of a simultaneous
detection of quantities are improved while
the children are enjoying the game.
