Installation of an activated carbon filter (not supplied)
Activated carbon filter can be used to trap odors. Normally the activated carbon
filter should be changed at three or six months according to your cooking habit. The
installation procedure of activated carbon filter is as below:
1. Before installing or replacing the carbon filters, turn off the appliance and unplug
the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Press the filter lock and remove the mesh filter.
3. Turn the carbon filter on both sides of the motor anti-clockwise to remove it. Replace
the carbon filters with the new carbon filters.
4. Replace the mesh filter.
5. Insert the plug of the appliance into the power outlet.
Note: Make sure the filter is securely locked. Otherwise, it would loosen and cause a
danger. When activated carbon filter attached, the suction power will be lowered.
Lamp Replacement
• The lamp must be replaced by the manufacturer, costumer service or a similarly
qualified person.
• Always switch off the appliance and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet
before carrying out any work on the appliance.
• When handling lamp, make sure it is completely cool down before any direct
contact to hands.
• Do not touch the lamp with bare hands, but use a cloth or gloves to ensure that the
lamp does not come into contact with sweat, as this may shorten the life of the lamp.
• Protect yourself from danger when replacing the lamp, e.g. by wearing gloves.
Proceed as follows:
1. Slide on the front part of the cooker hood.
2. Remove the grease filter. Press the lock and pull it downward.
3. Use a screwdriver to, loosen 2 screws and remove the clamp of the lamp
connecting wire. Remove the lamp plate and replace the lamp.
