To vacuum large amounts of liquid (e.g. from a basin, tank, etc.), do not
immerse the nozzle completely in the liquid. Leave a gap at the top of the
nozzle to allow airflow. The device is equipped with a float valve that blocks the
suction when the container has reached its maximum capacity. You will notice
a higher level of engine noise. If this happens, turn off the power, disconnect
the power plug, remove the top assembly from the container, and pour the
liquid into a suitable container or drain. To continue vacuuming, replace the
top assembly and continue. After wet vacuuming, switch the device off again
and pull out the power plug. Empty, clean and dry the inside and outside of
the container before putting the device out of service.
Carpet cleaning
Water with a suitable carpet cleaner is pumped deep into the fibres of the carpet
with the shampoo nozzle. The cleaning fluid that has loosened and absorbed the
dirt is then pumped back into the waste water tank. You can pump the liquid up to
2 metres above the vacuum so that you can work on the steps as well.
