WMF Motion thermal mug
Congratulations on your purchase! You have
chosen a long-lasting, quality product with high

Quality features
Thanks to the ThermaPro insulation function,
Motion thermal mugs keep drinks warm for up to
6 hours or cold for up to 12 hours.
Stainless steel housing with double-walled in-
sulated container made of Cromargan® stainless
steel 18/10. The vacuum between the stainless
steel walls reduces heat loss and increases the
insulating performance.
The 360-degree opening enables you to drink
from any side.
Easy to clean and hard-wearing if the following
instructions are observed.

Usage instructions
Before using the mug for the first time, rinse it
with lukewarm tap water and allow it to dry well.
To get the best insulating performance, rinse
your mug with hot or cold water before use.
Never use a microwave, hotplate or oven to pre-
heat the mug.
Only fill the mug to the maximum fill level, es-
pecially for hot drinks. Risk of scalding! To open,
press the push plate on the lid downwards. The
word "open" appears on the side of the mug (see
Fig. 2 on page 14). 360-degree opening allows
you to drink from any side. To close, press the
push plate downwards again. To fill, twist the lid
counterclockwise and pull upwards.
Cleaning and care instructions
The lid can be completely disassembled for
thorough cleaning. To do this, remove the lid as
described above. Then hold the lid by the grip re-
cesses and pull the push plate firmly upwards.
Caution: The push plate has a twist lock.
It can only be reinserted at two positions and
locked by pushing down (see Fig. 3 + 4 on
page 15).
Rinse out the inside of the thermal liner with
warm water and some detergent. For thorough
cleaning, we recommend the WMF washing-up
brush with soft sponge, the thermal mug is also
dishwasher safe.
Do not use any cleaning brushes made of metal
or hard plastic, and never rinse using scouring
agents, solutions or bleaches.
Rinse the mug out after handwashing with clear,
warm water and leave to dry.
Wipe the mug from the outside with a soft, damp
cloth and rub dry.
Do not soak the thermal mug in the sink.
After drying, store your thermal mug with the lid
off to prevent bacteria or any unpleasant smells
from developing.
Instructions for safe use
Motion thermal mugs are designed to be used
only with food and drinks.
Make sure to:
• always transport or store the filled mug in an
upright position.
• keep the thermal mug out of reach of children
• never overfill over the maximum fill level, espe-
cially with hot drinks; risk of scalding!
Do not use the mug
• for fizzy drinks,
• to keep dairy products or baby food warm due
to the risk of bacteria forming.
