• If the total length of the remote controller's wiring is less than 10 m (32 ft), use 0.75 mm² (AWG18) cable, and do not add their lengths to the
length calculations made above.
• If the total length of the remote controller's wiring is more than 10 m (32 ft), use 1.25 mm² (AWG16) cable or ø1.2 mm or more shielded cable
for the length of wiring exceeding 10 m (32 ft), and be sure to add their lengths to the length calculations made above.
6 Supply capacity to transmission line
In order to ensure proper communication among Outdoor unit, Indoor unit, LOSSNAY, and OA processing unit GUF-RD(H), and Controllers, the
transmission power situation for the M-NET should be observed. In some cases, Transmission Booster should be used. Taking the power
consumption of Indoor unit sized P20-P140 as 1, the equivalent power consumption or supply of others are listed at Table 6-1 and Table 6-2.

*If PAC-SC50KUA is used to supply power at TB7 side, no power supply need from Outdoor unit at TB7, Connector TB3 itself will therefore have 32.
With the equivalent power consumption values in Table 6-1 and Table 6-2, PAC-SF46EPA can be designed into the air-conditioner system to ensure
proper system communication according to 6-2-A, B, C.
6-2-A) Firstly, count from TB3 at TB3 side the total quantity of Indoor units, OA process units and ME remote controller, Timers and System
controllers. If the total quantity reaches 40, a PAC-SF46EPA should be set. In this case, Indoor unit sized P200, 250 is counted as 2 Indoor
units, but MA remote controller(s), LOSSNAY is NOT counted.
6-2-B) Secondly, count from TB7 side to TB3 side the total transmission power consumption. If the total power consumption reaches 32, a
PAC-SF46EPA should be set. Yet, if a PAC-SC50KUA is used to supply power at TB7 side, count from TB3 side only.
6-2-C) Thirdly, count from TB7 at TB7 side the total transmission power consumption. If the total power consumption reaches 6, a PAC-SF46EPA
should be set.
