Information about using the operating manual

Explanation of symbols and notes
The following symbols and signal words are used in this operating
manual, on the appliance or on the packaging.
PROHIBITED
This symbol prohibits the use of the appliance near bathtubs,
showers, washbasins and other water-filled containers.
DANGER
Danger of electric shock which may result in serious physical
injury or death.

The hair straightener is safety insulated and radio screened. It meets the
requirements of EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU
and Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
Operation
Preparation
f Check that the contents are complete.
f Check all the parts for possible transport damage.
Safety
Caution! Damage due to incorrect power supply.
f Only operate the hair straightener with the voltage
stated on the nameplate.
Operation
1. Insert the mains plug into the socket. A double acoustic signal
will sound.
2. Switch on the hair straightener using the on/off switch (E) (Fig. 2).
An acoustic signal will sound. The LCD display shines blue and
shows the current temperature. The highest temperature is preset
at 230 °C.
3. Set the desired operating temperature with the temperature switch
(D).

 Reduce temperature
An acoustic signal will sound during adjustment.
The operating temperature can be set within a range of
80 – 230 °C in 10 °C increments. Once the set operating
temperature has been reached, the hair straightener display
shows the temperature.
4. After using the hair straightener, switch it off by holding down the
on/off switch (Fig. 2). The LCD display goes out.
5. Disconnect from the mains.
6. Allow the hair straightener to cool down.
