Switching state

The operating mode Single Point Mode was implemented
for the switching channels BDC1...BDC3.
If the position value exceeds the switching threshold, the
switching signal changes. The switch-off point lies above it
by the hysteresis value and the switching threshold is
defined with setpoint 1.
Switching behavior with hysteresis is described in Fig. 6-1.

Teaching in the switching channels with a
target
If the target leaves the measuring range during
teach-in, the error message
TEACH_STATE_ERROR is shown.
Perform teach-in
1. Select switching channel.
2. Move the target to the desired position.
3. Temporarily save current position as switchpoint.
4. Apply and activate switchpoint function.

Setpoint1
The SP1 switching threshold value saves the output value
at which a switch should take place (value range
0x0000 (010)...0x0FA0 (400010)).

Switchpoint mode
(Switchpoint operating mode)
All switching channels are initially deactivated. After
entering the switching channel parameters, each switching
channel must be explicitly enabled.
