2.2 Installing a fan onto a TGK and TGR roof duct

The fan is designed for mounting directly on EXHAUSTO standard Roof Duct TGK or
TGR.
The fan is mounted on the roof duct and rests
on a rubber ring.
The rubber ring ensures vibration-free
operation and serves at the same time as a
seal between the fan and the roof duct.
Fasten the safety wire (extra) to the roof duct.
This allows the fan to be lifted up easily from
the roof duct for service and cleaning
purposes.

2.3 Installing a fan onto a roof base using an FPT base plate

The fan can be mounted on top of a roof socket with baseplate FPT.
Fasten the baseplate (FPT) to the roof socket
and seal it with joint filler.
Mount the fan on the baseplate, so that it rests
on the rubber ring.
Note
In moist exhaust air, condensate may occur, and for this reason the fan duct/roof socket
always requires insulation. In these cases fasten the safety wire (extra) to the pipe/roof
base.
Warning
If the DTH fan is mounted in a accessible place please ensure that the fan cannot be
removed from the roof duct without using tools. A clamp/brace can be mounted
connecting DTH fan and roof duct.
DTH with EC
In the case of DTH with EC control the EC
control
control box is mounted on the roof duct.
The EC control is connected via the repair
switch.
The control box must not be fitted upside down.
