USING YOUR SPRAYER
1. Remove pump assembly(all models).
2. Mix spray solution in a separate container, using the ratio specified on your chemical.
a. For T1500, T2000 & T3000 use measuring cup to accurately pour the correct level of spray material.
3. Strain your solution through fine cheesecloth or a household strainer to remove particles that could
clog the sprayer.
4. Fill with liquid up to the top fill band. Bands indicate gallons and depending on model tanks
will have one at each 1, 2, or 3 gallon contents level. Replace the pump assembly, making sure
to tighten it securely.
5. If the sprayer has a pressure relief valve on the side of the tank, make sure it is in
the closed position. (fig. 1)
6. Pressurize the tank by pumping approximately 15-20 times.
7. The adjustable tip can be tightened for a fine mist and loosened for a solid stream.
WARNING
Do not loosen tip more than 2-3 threads (full turns).
off allowing for spray to fly towards you.
8. When finished, release pressure by turning the pressure relief valve to "open" or loosen pump by slowly turning
it to the left, but do not remove it completely until you no longer hear air hissing out of the sprayer.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Release air pressure from tank by turning the pressure relief valve to the left.
2. Remove pump assembly and pour out remaining solution.
3. Rinse tank thoroughly with clean water.
4. With a small amount of water in the tank, pressurize it & spray for 30 seconds to rinse the hose,
valve, and wand.
5. Always store empty and with the pressure relief valve in the open position.
6. For GP1, GP2, GP3, 1P & 2P Models Only apply approximately 10 drops of 20 weight or heavier
motor oil into the openings at the base of the pump handle at the start of the growing season
and periodically thereafter. (see fig. 2)
7. If valve trigger is sluggish, remove the spray wand and apply 5 drops of oil in that end
of the valve. (All models)
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem: Sprayer fails to pressurize.
Solution:
a. Be sure tank pump is tight.
b. Check pump assembly.
c. Make sure pressure relief valve is closed ( fig. 1)
d. With pump disassembled, inspect seal ring (B) for damage. If in good condition,
wipe off any foreign particles. If damaged, replace using parts from repair kit.
Oil with 20 weight or heavier motor oil.(see fig.2) (GP1, GP2, GP3 only)
e. Inspect cylinder gasket (C). If soiled, clean all surfaces of gasket and rim of
tank with clean lint-free cloth. If split or worn, replace using parts from repair kit.
Problem: Sprayer leaks
Solution: Make sure all connections are sealed from the wand tip to the hose discharge.
Step 1. Extension cap at extension rod. (Fig. 3)
a. Tighten extension cap securely by hand.
b. If leak persists, RELEASE AIR PRESSURE, remove rod by
loosening extension cap and pulling rod straight out.
c. If connection surfaces are scratched or damaged, replace using parts from Kit.
