Mounting instructions:
What you will need:
When mounting on a metal air screen: A power drill or a rechargeable screw drill with 4.5 and 8 mm HSS drill bits, a jig saw
with a metal saw blade, screwdriver, file for metal.
When mounting on a wooden panel: A power drill with a 40 mm hole saw, screwdriver and file or sandpaper for wood.
The mounting procedure described in the following can be performed by anyone if the instructions are followed accurately.
You do not need to be a specialist:
1.
Stick the enclosed self-adhesive drilling and sawing template (10) onto the upper air screen or the upper wooden
panel of the terrarium from the outside in the spot where the TempSet is to be mounted.
2.
Produce the round cut-out (40 mm) and the holes for the mounting screws in accordance with the instructions on
the template. Deburr the edges with a file or sandpaper and remove the template. When mounting on a wooden
panel, drill a cut-out of only 40 mm with the hole saw. You do not need to drill the small holes for the mounting
screws.
3.
Use two screws to mount the control gear (1) on a non-flammable and stable base near the cut-out produced
according to Point 2. Make sure it is close enough to the cut-out so that the special ignition cable (6) will not be
kinked or pulled.
