2.3 Controlling the camera
2.3.1 General information
You can use the „Steering wheel" to select a new position.
Clicking the appropriate arrows on this control wheel will move
the camera to the new position.
By clicking „H", you can move the camera back to its starting
position.
You can define 9 different positions. Clicking the number for each
predefined position will move the camera to this position.
If you click „C", the camera moves to all saved positions one
after the other.
2.3.2 Setting positions
If you want to monitor particular areas in the field of vision
regularly, you can save these positions and assign them names.
Open the menu item „Control".
You see a miniature version of the camera's live image. By cli-
cking in different areas of the picture, you can move the camera
to the desired position, e.g. if you click in the right half of the
picture, the camera will move to the right. Diagonal movements
are also possible: e.g. you click in the lower left corner of the
picture -> the camera swivels down and to the left.
Once you have reached the desired position, you can save it.
Go to the „Position name" field and enter a descriptive name for
the position.
Then choose a storage location (1-9) in the
„Available positions" menu.
Now click „Save as Position 1 (1-9)".
If you want to delete the position you have saved, you can select
it and click „Delete position".
2.3.2 Monitoring tour with set positions
To configure a monitoring tour, first click „Tour".
To define a monitoring tour, you need to have saved a number of
different positions first.
Click „Add" to define a new monitoring tour. This will open a
new window.
In the „Name" field, you can assign the monitoring tour a name.
The drop-down menu „Available positions" gives you an
overview of all positions you have already saved. Select the
desired position and click „Add to list" to add this position to
your monitoring tour.
