This CO detector is used for early warning of dangerous concentrations of carbon monoxide in closed rooms. The
CO concentration is measured by means of an integrated electrochemical sensor. As soon as a harmful
concentration of carbon monoxide is detected, the red LED flashes and a loud alarm sounds.

Note:
Consult a specialist with regard to the installation and in particular the positioning of the device in the
intended rooms in order to ensure that the proper functioning of the CO detector is guaranteed!

This CO detector may only be used in private rooms.

CO warning detectors are particularly suitable for rooms with fuel-burning appliances (e.g. gas heaters or
gas cookers).

Check the unit weekly for proper function (see chapter: "Start-up")!

Please note that this CO alarm detector is not a substitute for smoke-alarm-, other gas- or heat- detector!

This device can detect CO in the environment. However, it cannot prevent the accumulation of CO in the
air!

The unit must be replaced after 10 years at the latest!

This CO detector can monitor a range of 20 to 40m².


General safety information:
Danger:
Never paint or use other solvents on the housing! Never hang any decorative items on the housing and
never cover it! This means that the proper functioning of the device is no longer guaranteed!
Danger of suffocation:
that can be swallowed! Keep the device away from children under the age of 8!
Note:
If renovation work is planned that causes a high level of dust, such as sanding work, or if paint or varnish
containing solvents is used, the sensor may be damaged. Before starting renovation work, remove the unit and
store it in the meantime in a place where it is protected from dirt and vapours containing solvents.

Install the unit in easily accessible places so that a weekly function check can be carried out.

If the unit is commissioned on a cupboard or shelf, for example, then the unit must be placed upright.
Otherwise, proper functioning is not guaranteed. Make sure that the unit stands securely and cannot fall
down!

Clean the housing at least once a month with a soft vacuum cleaner brush. If there is a high amount of
dust, weekly cleaning is recommended! Dust and dirt can impair the function of the built-in sensor!

This product is only suited for indoor-use and not for outdoor-use!
