Do not use the stepladder if you are in any way physically impaired.
Certain health conditions such as pregnancy, intake of medication,
alcohol or drug abuse, for example, may endanger your safety
when using the stepladder. Only use the stepladder in a good
health condition.
Warning, electrical hazard. The stepladder is made from conduc-
tive materials. Do not use for tasks involving work under electrical
voltage. Establish all risks that might be involved due to electrical
equipment in the working area, e.g. overhead power lines or other
exposed electrical facilities and do not use the stepladder if any
hazards arising from electrical current exist.
Do not use as a leaning ladder.
The stepladder is not suitable for this purpose.
Do not stay on the stepladder for longer periods of time without
regular interruption (fatigue is a risk). Leave the stepladder imme-
diately in case of fatigue or discomfort.
Avoid damage when transporting the stepladder, e.g. caused by
lashing, and ensure that it is fastened/attached in a suitable manner.
Only transport the stepladder in a closed and sufficiently
secured condition.
Make sure that the stepladder is suitable for the respective use.
Do not use a soiled stepladder, e.g. due to wet paint, dirt,
oil or snow. Remove any soiling before each use.
Do not use the stepladder outdoors in unfavourable weather condi-
tions, e.g. strong wind.
If used professionally, a risk assessment must be performed taking
the legal stipulations of the respective country
of use into consideration.
When positioning the stepladder, observe the risk of collision, e.g.
with pedestrians, vehicles or doors. Lock doors (except emergency
exits) and windows in the working area, if possible.
Use non-conductive stepladders where work under electrical
voltage is unavoidable.
Do not change the construction of the stepladder. Do not attempt
to create a makeshift extension or to modify the form and function
in any way.
Do not move the stepladder while standing on it.
Do not move the stepladder while a person is standing on it.
Pay attention to wind conditions when using outdoors.
Take additional safety precautions.
