Installation with Router
Step 1
connect the ethernet cable to the blue WAN port on the back of
your videophone.
Step 4
your phone will begin the registration process, which may take up to 15 minutes. Please do not press
keys or try to make any calls during this process. Once the blue registration light on the left is on and
stops flashing, your videophone is ready to use!
Note: Simultaneous use of the computer and the
videophone will affect the quality of the connection.
If you do not have a computer simply connect your
AcN IRIS 5000 Videophone to your modem or
router as described in step 1 and 2.
Installation without a Router
Step 1
Unplug and turn off your modem for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Plug the power adapter into the videophone and an
electrical outlet.

Preferred method for optimal video quality
Before installing your videophone, ensure your Internet is working.
Step 2
connect the other end
of the ethernet cable
to an open port on
your router.
AcN recommends you use a router with your videophone.

connect the blue ethernet cable to blue WAN port
on the back of your videophone.

Before you begin, you will need the following: an active high
Speed Internet connection (200 kbps or higher) and a router or
DSL modem with ethernet port. All of the following items should
be included with your AcN IRIS 5000 Videophone. If an item is
missing, please contact AcN customer Services via www.myacn.eu.

The AcN IRIS 5000 Videophone is not designed to serve as a
router. Although you can connect your computer to the LAN port
on the back of your videophone (as shown), for better quality, AcN
recommends using a router when installing your videophone.
Step 3

videophone and
then plug it into an
ectrical outlet.
Note: Do not use power adapters from other devices.

Plug the blue ethernet cable from the videophone
into a line/ethernet port on your modem. /
