5. Remove the battery (12) from the
charger (16).

Preparing the cartridge

Check the cartridge for damage
before use. Using a damaged
cartridge can cause the device to
malfunction.
To use open cartridges, make sure
to remove any dried sealant/glue,
see "Force through a plugged car-
tridge opening".
1. Cut the cartridge with a sharp knife (at
the first turn of the thread).
2. Screw the cartridge nozzle onto the
cartridge thread.
3. Cut the tip of the cartridge nozzle so
that the desired quantity of sealant can
be dispensed.
Make sure that the opening of the
cartridge nozzle is large enough.
If the cartridge nozzle is too small
and the feed rate is too high, there
is a risk of sealant/glue being
pushed through the bottom of the
cartridge, contaminating your de-
vice.
Inserting/removing the
cartridge
1. Press the release button (9) while pull-
ing the push rod (3) on the push rod
handle (5) back as far as it will go.
2. Unscrew the thread (4) by holding
the cartridge holder (1) with one hand
while turning the thread.
3. Remove the cartridge holder (1).
4. Slide the used cartridge into the car-
tridge holder (1) from behind.
5. Place the cartridge holder (1) on the
thread (4)
6. Tighten the thread (4) by hand.
7. Press the release button (9) while slid-
ing the push rod (3) forward until the
piston (
2) touches the bottom of
the cartridge.
To remove the cartridge, proceed in re-
verse order.
Force through plugged
cartridge opening
With the integrated pin (11) you can force
through plugged cartridge openings or
nozzles.
1. Turn the pin (11) out of the mecha-
nism (10).
2. Force through the plugged cartridge
opening using the pin (11).
3. Turn the pin (11) back into the mecha-
nism (10).

Operation

Ensure that the ambient tem-
perature does not exceed 50 °C
or fall below -20 °C during work.

Adjusting the feed rate

You can continuously adjust the feed rate
with the controller (8).
Recommended openings of the cartridge
nozzle for feed rate levels 1-6:
Level 1 – nozzle opening min. 5 mm
Level 2 – nozzle opening min. 6 mm
Level 3 – nozzle opening min. 8 mm
Level 4 – nozzle opening min. 8.5 mm
