FOREWORD

This document describes the special functions of Celcia
20, which are not included in the user's guide.
6.1 Choice between room control or weather
compensator
Celcia 20 is both suitable for weather-compensated
heating and for room-controlled heating. Opting for
one or the other control method depends on the way in
which the installation is set up. Celcia 20 is configured
as standard for room control. The following table shows
some considerations when choosing between weather-
compensated heating and room-controlled heating.

Central heating water temperature is dependent on the
outside temperature
All rooms are heated independent of one another.
Incorrect setting of heating curve results in complaints of
it being cold or hot.
Thermostatic radiator valves in all rooms for
readjustment.
To allow the thermostatic control valves to be able to
control, the central heating water temperature is often a
bit too high. This results in extra losses.
Celcia 20 also has an intelligent pump controller for
weather-compensated control. As a result, the pump
no longer runs all day, as is often the case with other
weather compensators. Save electricity whilst retaining
comfort.

Central heating water temperature is dependent on the
temperature in a reference room
Only in the reference room is the temperature controlled
very accurately.
Deviations are eliminated.
Turn valves in reference room fully open. In other rooms
thermostatic radiator valves may be used to prevent it
from becoming too hot there.
If it is warm enough in the reference room, the boiler
switches off. As a result, there is no more heat available
in other rooms. If it is coming through a fireplace, use
the fireplace function.
Due to the great back modulation of the boiler, heat is
available in other rooms more often and longer.
Celcia 20 has an intelligent pump controller when used
as a room controller. Save electricity whilst retaining
comfort.
