Mole-Stop can be used to deter voles
and moles without problems. However,
the success that can be achieved is
more dependent on external condi-
tions such as the ground conditions,
the amount of infestation, the ambi-
ent temperature etc. than when using
poisonous substances that damage the
environment.
Test:
Locate tunnels using a probe (e.g.
wooden stick) and expose over a length
of approx. 30 cm in several locations.
Check openings at regular intervals. The
freshest molehills are usually the closest
ones to the nest.
Typical vole characteristics:
Smooth, root-free vertically oval tunnels.
The tunnel is closed off with compact
soil extremely quickly at one or both
ends in about 5 minutes (up to a maxi-
mum of 5 hours).
Typical mole features
The tunnel is horizontally oval, crumbly and
usually has roots in it. The tunnel is closed

off extremely slowly, in about 1 - 7 days,
only at one end and with loose soil. How-
ever, the mole usually tunnels beneath the
30 cm long opening. You can clearly feel the
new tunnel beneath the old tunnel with your
inger.
Action time:
Since the animals are usually reluctant
to leave their usual living area, experi-
ence has shown that it can take up to
3 weeks for the animals to leave the
treated area. During this time, the loca-
tion of the device must not be changed.
The start of the effect can be seen in a
reduction in the number of new molehills
or an increase in the distance between
the molehills and the device. Existing
molehills should be levelled.
Additional information for solar
operation:
The solar cells directly convert the
sunlight into electricity and store it in the
built-in NiCad battery. This energy is
used to supply power at night and in dull
weather conditions.
