10) CALLS:
10a) ANSWERING AN INCOMING CALL
When a call is received from an outdoor station, the device will start ringing and the image from the camera of the outdoor station will be displayed on the "Master" indoor station.
The call may be answered by pressing the button
During the call, press
briefly to unlock the first gate (1st high energy output in the outdoor station); press and hold (>3 sec.) the same button to activate the 2nd output in the outdoor
station. Press briefly the button
The call will be automatically closed 5 seconds after the door has been opened.
Press
to switch the view to an extension video camera, if present.
The resident may interrupt the current call at any time by pressing the "End" icon on the display or the button
10b) CALL TO THE CONCIERGE
From the indoor station VI2F-PIT7B it is possible to forward a call to the concierge (if any): access the "Call" menu, enter the number of the concierge (200) and press the button "Call"; a call
to the concierge will be automatically activated.
10c) INTERCOMMUNICATING CALL
The system allows the communication between the various indoor stations of a apartment: access the call menu and press the "intercommunication" button; all the indoor stations of the
apartment will begin to ring; press the handset button in one of the stations to activate the intercommunicating call.
10d) INTERCOM CALL
By accessing the "call" menu it is possible to start an intercom call between different apartments belonging to the system: enter the apartment number and press the "Call" button; the indoor
stations of the apartment called will begin to ring; press the button
11) CAMERA MONITORING
The VI2F-CAM interface of this device allows displaying the cameras of the outdoor stations or any analogue cameras.
Press the "cameras" button to activate the video stream of the first outdoor station; by pressing the appropriate arrows, it is possible to switch from one camera to the previous or the next one. If there
are no more cameras, the device displays a black screen and then closes the display window.
The camera is displayed for 30 seconds; however, it is always possible to stop the display by pressing the "Exit" button; switching between cameras restores the display for 30 seconds.
12) OPENING GATES
During a call, or during the monitoring of the outdoor station, it is possible to operate the relays that unlock the gates in the system.
• Opening Gate 1 (high energy contact on board the outdoor station): press the button
• Opening Gate 2 (NO contact on board the outdoor station): press the button
• Opening Gate 3 (change-over contact on board the relay interface Art. VI2F-RELAY, optional): press the button
13) DOOR OPEN ALARM
When the "GS" alarm input on the outdoor station has been unbalanced for more than 2 minutes, the device emits an optical signal (flashing of the key LED) and if the display is on, the open door icon
will be displayed to indicate that the door has been left open.
Note: the open door signal is sent to all the indoor stations of the system; to stop the signal, close the door associated with it.
14) VIDEO SETTINGS
In Calling mode or while monitoring a camera, press the "Settings" icon to access the setting menu of the display of the device:
press the + and – buttons to change the brightness, contrast, and colour settings.
15) ACQUISITION OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS
By default, each incoming call is associated with the capture of the first frame of the same. During a call it is also possible to capture additional frames by pressing the "Photo" button on the display
menu.
Photographs are stored in the internal memory of the device.
If an SD card is installed on the device (not supplied), it is possible to save a 15-second footage: during a call press the "Record" button to capture the footage.
The photographs and video recordings can be consulted in the "Message" menu using the corresponding buttons.
In addition to accessing photographs and recordings, from the menu it is possible to delete a single Photograph / Video or the whole list by pressing the corresponding buttons
You can disable the automatic frame capture functions as follows: access the "Settings/Advanced Settings" menu, enter the password and press "OK". Enter the "Other Settings" menu, uncheck the
parameter and press "OK".
16) RESETTING TO FACTORY SETTINGS
It is possible to reset the device to factory settings as follows: access the Settings/Advanced Settings menu, enter the default password and press OK. Select the "Reset device" parameter and confirm.
If the password to access the advanced configuration menu is lost, it is possible to access the menu by typing the code 801801 to reset the device password. Note: The reset procedure does not erase previously
recorded photos and videos.
