Do not rivet or screw any name-plates or signs to the vac-
uum pump. If the insulation is damaged, protection against
an electric shock will be ineffective. Adhesive labels are
recommended.
Before putting into operation, check the mains connec-
tion and the mains plug for damage.
Operating Instructions.
Connected components must be designed for a maxi-
mum vacuum of at least -0,9 bar.
Set up the vacuum pump in such a manner that the intake
and exhaust air can circulate well. Make sure that the ven-
tilation openings are not obstructed and clean.
To prevent thermal overload, take periodic breaks from
operating the vacuum pump.
After use, switch the vacuum pump off, pull the mains
plug and relieve the pressure by removing the vacuum
hose.
Troubleshooting
Pump switches off after prolonged running

Repair and customer service.
Check the connections, seals and hoses. Have dam-
age repaired only through a qualified repair person
and only using original FEIN replacement parts.
Keep the ventilation openings unobstructed and clean.
Clean the filter in the connection hose regularly by blow-
ing it out with compressed air in the opposite flow direc-
tion. Replace the filter if heavily soiled.
If the supply cord of this power tool is damaged, it must
be replaced by a specially prepared cord available through
the FEIN customer service centre.
Warranty and liability.
The warranty for the product is valid in accordance with
the legal regulations in the country where it is marketed.
In addition, FEIN also provides a guarantee in accordance
with the FEIN manufacturer's warranty declaration.
The delivery scope of your vacuum pump may include
only a part of the accessories described or shown in this
instruction manual.
