Special safety instructions.
Operate the vacuum pump only from socket outlets with
the earthing contact according to regulations. Only use
undamaged supply cords and regularly checked exten-
sion cords with earthing contact. A protective conductor
without continuity can lead to electric shock.
Convince yourself of the existence of the vacuum by
checking the reading on the manometer. Failure of the
vacuum can occur as a result of a mains failure or
because of thermal overload of the vacuum pump. Failure
of the vacuum can result in the complete unit falling
down.
Do not leave the switched on vacuum pump unattended.
Never subject a part of the human body to the vacuum.
The vacuum can cause injuries.
Check the connections, seals and hoses each time before
using. Have damage repaired only through a qualified
repair person and only using original FEIN replacement
parts. Prevent the hoses from being constricted, e.g.,
through debris, pinching or pulling. Lack of vacuum may
lead to failure of the holding device and lead to injury.
