audible, below the programmed limit, thus allowing the music to continue.
This option should always be activated when the limiter is installed in places with a high
level of ambient noise, (bars, pubs etc.) or has an emission limit below 90 dBA. In this
case the level detected by the sensor may be higher than the programmed limit. To
activate this option the internal self-checking system must be activated.
 Sound insulation: This allows you to introduce gross sound insulation in decibels (dB)
between the emitting and receiving establishments. This insulation will be provided for
the following octave bands with central frequencies of 31.5 Hz, 63 Hz, 125 Hz, 250 Hz,
500 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz, 4 kHz and 8 kHz.
 Attenuation time: This allows you to introduce the 60 dB penalisation that will be applied
when the attenuation needed to prevent the programmed limit from being exceeded is
higher than 50 dB. If 0 seconds are programmed, 60 dB attenuation will not take place.
 Leq time: This allows you to define the duration of equivalent sound level measurement
to be stored in the memory.
 Max LF limit: This allows you to introduce the maximum "Fast" level permitted. If this limit
is exceeded, the LRF-05 will carry out no attenuation. The "Fast" parameter does not
serve to regulate the music level, it is a merely informative parameter.
 Modem parameters: This option allows you to select the number of rings the LRF-05 will
allow before answering a request received via the modem.
Non-working periods zone: This zone provides you with access to 30 time intervals
(non-working periods) during which the maximum sound pressure level may be exceeded
without penalisation. During these periods, the LRF-05 will continue to record all
measured data. These intervals are usually programmed to prevent the LRF-05 from
limiting during special occasions: local festivals, new-year parties and so on.
Notepad zone: This zone allows you to annotate the recorded data. A maximum of
64,000 characters may be stored.
In the menu at the bottom, two buttons allow you to:
Receive the programming of any LRF-05 connected to the computer.
Programme the LRF-05 by connecting the computer to the programming
introduced into the parameter zone. To programme the LRF-05 you have to
introduce a password. The initial (ex-factory) password is 0000.
The type of communication (USB or modem) and the communications port (COM1 to COM4)
must be correctly defined.
When you work with an LRF-05 for the first time, you must create an "index card" for the
limiter, for which you must first receive the LRF-05 programming.
The programming menu contains the following options to keep the limiter card database:
This option allows you to eliminate the on-screen card from the database.
This option stores the on-screen card in the database.
If the ENOS (Extraneous Noise Override System) option
is activated, the limiter will control the attenuation in such
a way that even if the ambient noise level exceeds the
programmed limit, the level of the music will remain
