4.9 Never carry out any maintenance on the equipment without first disconnecting it from the mains supply. If the equipment is to be left unattended the power supply should
also be terminated.
4.10 Do not use the main supply cable to pull or lift the equipment.
4.11 Do not emerse the equipment in water nor use pressure jet of water for cleaning.
4.12 Periodically examine the mains cable and the equipment for damages. If any damage is found contact your service centre for repair.
4.13 Should extension cables be used ensure that the cable rating is suitable for use with this equipment. Do not use the cable coiled as this could result in a voltage drop or
overheating. Keep dry at all times.
4.14 Service and repairs must be carried out by qualifìed personnel oniy. Replacement parts for the equipment must be manufacturers original spare parts oniy.
4.15 The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage/injury caused to persons or property because of the incorrect use of the equipment due to procedures being
used which are not specified in this instruction manual.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

5.1 Insert the flexible hose into the inlet (Fig. 3).
5.2 Check to see that the main voltage corresponds to the power requirements for the unit as specified on the identification lable. Then insert the plug into the power socket. In
case of use together with a SIMED sandblaster, these are provided with a connection hole for the insert of the wand (Q) and with a special socket for the connection of the
power supply in order to permit the simoultaneous switch with the sandblaster.
5.3 Regulate the power. In case of use with a sandblaster we suggest to keep the power very low to not exceed in the creation of a vacuum inside the sandblaster chamber.

6. MAINTENANCE

6.1 Examine often if the paper bag is full and when necessary
substitute it by inserting it in the tank on the deflector (Fig. 4).
