Handling the Remote Control • Use the remote control within a distance of 8 m (26 ft.) from the appliance, pointing it towards the receiver. Reception is confi rmed by a beep. CAUTION • The air conditioner will not respond if curtains, doors or other materials block the signal from the remote control to the unit. -

Function Buttons TEMP DOWN Button: Push this button to decrease the indoor temperature setting by 1°C (1°F) increments to 17°C (62°F). TEMP (°C / °F) TEMP UP Button: Push this button to increase the indoor temperature setting by 1°C (1°F) increments to 30°C (86°F). - Page 6 Function Buttons (continued) NOTE: While the unit is running in sleep mode, it will cancel if or MODE buttons are pressed. Button: Press the timer button to activate the AUTO-OFF setting. Each time it is pressed, increases the time setting by 30 minute increments for the fi rst 10 hours, then by 1 hour increments up to 24 hours.
