In order to switch off the working surface of an electric cooking range with induction system, turn
the knob on the "0" position.
When the pot is taken away from the working surface for a short period of time, the inductor does
not supply any energy. When the pot is put again on the working surface, the inductor starts
working at the same power rate as previously chosen.
After switching off the plate of an electric cooking range with induction system, the fan keeps on
working until the temperature of the generator reaches the room temperature.
If the working surface is in stand-by status, the components starts researching the pot; the display
shows U and the decimal point shows if electric power is supplied (after a minute the appliances
goes into "energy saving mode" and it searches the pot at every 5 seconds). When the appliance
detects the pot on the working surface, the display starts showing numbers (1-9).
ATTENTION!
Use the appliance under supervision. The induction cooking units can be used
exclusively with pan/pots suitable for induction use, which can be easily found on the
market by producers/distributor of traditional ones.
Never use the induction system to heat other cooking systems as they would be suitable
for the induction!
ATTENTION!: some parts of the generator remain under tension even when the plate
is off.
ATTENTION!: NEVER open the induction generator. Danger of high tension!
Cooking process
Compared to a cooking with conventional systems, the user must proceed with caution, especially
regardless to the following circumstances:
This system has a very high capacity to save the heat. When the heating range has changed by using
the knob, the food reaches in a short time the set temperature. Empty pans or pots heat really very
fast and they are so ready to fry or cook. Set the heating power in relation to the desired cooking
method.
Set the power by using the knob. The pan or whatever else should be place in the middle of the
cooking area.
When heating oil or grease constantly check the container in order to avoid any overheating or set
on fire of the same.
The cooking process is interrupted by switching off the appliance.
Pots
The induction surface works properly with any kind of pot which is suitable for induction, in iron,
cast iron, ferrochrome, all the above mentioned pots even if enamelled.
The generator accepts all the above mentioned kind of pot and adapts in real time to supply almost
the same power. The pots must have a bottom diameter superior than 12 cm and must be flat,
weather pots with a diameter higher than 26 cm could have a loss of performance.
The generator does not accept pots with the technical specifications as below.
Pots not suitable for use:
o With a diameter lower than 12 cm.
o With the bottom side in aluminium, bronze, copper.
o Pots or pans in ceramic or glass.
o Pots with bent bottom or with feet
