Problem
Multiple readings are not
giving reproducible results
Unit does not power up
Flow value display is
erratic/jumpy

• Unit is out of calibration
• Value is being compared to a bubble flowmeter
• Dead batteries
• The ProFLOW 6000 flowmeter is very sensitive to
small changes in flow

Suggested Solution(s)
• Return the unit to Restek for recalibration*
• See Section 12.0 for a discussion of the
weaknesses of bubble flowmeters
• Replace with 2 new AA alkaline batteries
• Allow more time for flow to stabilize
