LUBRICATION
Motor:
To protect your tool, lubricate the motor every time—before and after—
you use this tool. You cannot oil the motor too often or put too much oil in
the air inlet.

Gears:
Periodic lubrication of the impact mechanism
through the flush-type grease fitting will extend
the life of the ratchet. Under regular use, inject
a small amount grease to the flush-type grease
fitting with a grease injection gun every week.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To remove a nut, bolt or spark plug:

To install a nut, bolt or spark plug:
Follow the above directions BUT set the ratchet head to run in the forward
direction by depressing the forward/reverse knob and turning it counter
clockwise to the forward position.
Do not overtighten when using your air-powered impact ratchet. Use a
torque wrench to attain the proper torque manually.
Disconnect the reactionless ratchet from air supply.
Turn the tool upside down.
While pulling the trigger, pour approximately a teaspoon of air tool oil
in the air inlet. Campbell Hausfeld makes an air tool oil under model
number ST1270.
Connect the tool to the air supply and cover the exhaust port with a
towel. Run the reactionless ratchet for about 10 seconds. Oil will spray
from the exhaust port when the tool is triggered.
Continue to run until no oil is discharged.
Wipe all residual oil from tool before use.
Set ratchet head to run in the reverse
direction by depressing the forward/reverse
knob and turning it clockwise to remove a
bolt, nut or spark plug.
Attach the appropriate sized IMPACT socket
on the anvil and press firmly until socket is
seated over the ball retainer.
Place socket over nut or bolt and squeeze
trigger until nut or bolt has been removed or
installed.
