Set 2
Setting the desired light level for zone 2.
Set 2 can be set within the range 50-1500 lx in steps of +/-50 lx
or +/-100 lx.
Time
Setting the cut-off time
The time can be set within a range of 1-60 mins. In steps of +/-1
min or +/-10 mins.
For further information see the installation and user manual for
Luxstat Dim model 77-050.
Setting the daylight factor (Fig. 3)
1. Measure with a lux meter lux 1 indoors at
reference point
= e.g. 150 lux

reference point
= e.g. 50 lux

3. Use the remote control (unlock) to set Lux 1 indoors
Factory setting 200 lux
Measured value 150 lux
Setting 200 – 150 = difference 50 lux

4. Use the remote control (unlock) to set Lux 2 indoors

5. Check that the LED on the 77-050 unit is not fl ashing
continuously (Error).
6. Press the "lock/unlock" button on the remote control unit to
exit the settings mode.
NB: To make sure that the current daylight factor is used, both
zones must be set. Even if factory settings are suitable.
Glossary
App. Class:
Application for classroom with blackboard light, manual on and
off via pushbutton switch, automatic off via movement sensor, or
daylight.
App Man:
Application manual, manual on and off via pushbutton switch,
automatic off via movement sensor, or daylight.
App Auto:
Application automatic, automatic on and off via movement
sensor, daylight-dependent.
Lux 1 indoors:
Current light level (lux) at selected reference point (table height)
in zone 1.
Lux 2 indoors:
Current light level (lux) at selected reference point (table height)
in zone 2.
Setpoint 1:
Desired light level (lux) at table height in zone 1.
Setpoint 2:
Desired light level (lux) at table height in zone 2.

Off delay:
Cut-off time before movement sensor switches off the light.
Cut off:
Cuts off 230 V power supply to HF ballast
Vout max:
Option for limiting the 1-10 V control signal, e.g. to 8 V.
Daylight factor:
This describes the amount of daylight falling into a room.
Error indication:
LED, in Luxstat control box model 77-050 or IR sensor model 77-910,
fl ashes continuously when the daylight factor is more than 100%.
Cause – The value for Lx1 or Lx2 is indicated at a value that is
greater than the factor registered by the light sensor.
The value is selected when setting Lx1 or Lx2.
Explanation Fig. 1:
1: White buttons – used by the user on a daily basis.
2: Grey buttons – only used upon fi rst startup
3: Red buttons – only used upon startup, for setting
daylight factor and setpoint in zone 1
4: Orange buttons – only used upon startup, for setting
daylight factor and setpoint in zone 2
5: Blue buttons – only used upon startup, for setting
cut-off time for movement sensor.
Explanation Fig. 2:
Switching between automatic or manual system:
1: Press Lock/Unlock three times to enable settings
2: Select automatic or manual system by pressing
App. Auto or App. Man.
3: Press Lock/Unlock once to save setting,
after which the factory settings apply.
Individual setting of system (Adapted to the room):
1: Press Lock/Unlock three times to enable settings
2: Follow instructions on page 2 "Settings"
3: Press Lock/Unlock once to save setting,
after which the new settings will apply.
