DVD PLAYER
DVD80K
HDMI output resolution may be changed using the "HD
Resolution" option on the "Video" menu (see Player
configuration). Select the desired resolution: 480p/576p,
720p, 1080i, 1080p depending on the television used. By
default it is set to "Automatic." 480p, 720p, and 1080p
resolutions are applicable in progressive mode. Resolution
1080i uses an interlaced signal.
On some televisions, some resolution settings may cause
the image to disappear or change.
If the resolution is changed while the player is connected to
the HDMI socket, the device may malfunction. To resolve
this issue: turn the player off and turn it back on.
Attention: Some high-definition televisions are not fully
compatible with this device, which may cause problems
with the image. In this case use a standard connection on
the SCART output.
Connecting to a Home Cinema
The player may be connected to a Home Cinema setup with
a maximum of 5 speakers and a sub-woofer.
Note: after starting the player, ensure that the "Analogue
Output" option on the "Audio" menu is set to the value
corresponding to your installation configuration:
"2 channels" or "5.1 channels" (see Player configuration).
SETTING UP THE DEVICE
Connect the power player and TV supply cables to the
mains sockets.
• Turn the TV on and select the video source (HDMI, etc.)
that matches the type of connection.
• Press POWER to turn the player on.
• Press SETUP to display the (main) setup menu. You will
be prompted for the following password: «0000».

• In the SYSTEM SETUP menu, select the TV format:
S-VIDEO or RGB.
• In the HD OUTPUT menu, select: HD OFF, 720P, 1080I
or 1080P.

Setup".
