2. Safety information
Read all the instructions carefully before

using this product for the first time.
Always observe the general accident pre-

vention regulations and wear appropriate
personal protective equipment, including
safety goggles and protective gloves.
The Reanimator and the charger are not

intended for use by children. People with
restricted physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or who have insufficient ex-
perience and specialist knowledge, must
be supervised by a person responsible for
their safety whilst using the product.
Do not touch the inside of the device

with your fingers or hands.
Do not expose the Reanimator or the

Do not use the Reanimator or the char-

ger if the output cable is damaged.
Do not use the Reanimator or the char-

ger if they have been subjected to a hard
impact, been dropped or been damaged
in any other way.
Do not dismantle the Reanimator or

the charger.
Working in the vicinity of lead-acid bat-

teries is dangerous. Batteries generate
explosive gases during normal operation
and while charging. Always ensure ade-
quate ventilation and avoid naked flames
and sparks for this reason. Naturally, this
also applies to smoking.
Ensure that the Reanimator and the char-

ger are placed on a dry, non-flammable
surface.
In order to minimise the risk of a battery

explosion, follow these instructions in
addition to those published by the bat-
tery manufacturer and the instructions
from the manufacturers of devices which
are intended for use in the vicinity of the
battery. Observe the safety notices on
these products and on the engine.
Attention: Do not use the Reanimator

with batteries which cannot be recharged.
Only use the Reanimator with recharge-
able lead-acid batteries. Do not use with
dry cell batteries, such as those often
used in household appliances. Such
batteries can burst and thereby cause
physical injury or material damage.
Operating Instruction
Remove all personal effects made from

metal, such as rings, bracelets, necklaces
and wristwatches, when working with a
lead-acid battery. A lead-acid battery can
generate a short circuit that is suffici-
ently powerful to weld a ring or similar
metallic object, which can cause serious
burn injuries.
Exercise particular caution to prevent

metallic objects from falling onto
the battery. These can cause sparks or
short the battery or other electrical com-
ponents and trigger an explosion.
To prevent sparks, ensure that the clamps

NEVER touch each other or come into
contact with the same metallic object.
3. Start-up
Inspect the device and the cables for visible
damage. The device's housing must not ex-
hibit any cracks or other types of damage.
The insulation of the cables and the battery
charger pliers must be intact.
WARNING
Attention!
The device must be charged before
and after every use. Wherever possib-
le, leave the Reanimator connected to
the charger when not in use. This will
considerably prolong the battery life.
Press the button for the charge-level indi-
cator to monitor the battery's charge level.
5 LEDs must light up. The voltage must be
more than 13.5 V in this case.

4. Operating the starting aid
1.
Switch the vehicle ignition and all elec-
trical consumers in the vehicle OFF be-
fore you connect the cables.
2.
Always ensure that the cable clamps do
not touch each other.
3.
Only use the Reanimator in a well-venti-
lated location.
4.
Connect the red clamp to the positive
terminal of the vehicle battery and the
black clamp to the negative terminal of
the battery, or alternatively to the engi-
ne block or the vehicle body. When do-
ing so, ensure that no cables, objects or
body parts are able to get caught in the
engine's moving parts.
5.
Start the engine. If the engine does not
start within 3 to 5 seconds, stop the st-
arting procedure and wait for at least 3
minutes before trying to start the engine
again.
6.
When the engine starts, disconnect the
Reanimator. When doing so, disconnect
the negative clamp first before discon-
necting the positive clamp.
7.
Fully charge the Reanimator's internal
battery again after use.
After starting a vehicle, the Reanimator is
not permitted to remain connected for lon-
ger than 2 minutes with a running engine.
