4. S1 Mode – The flash triggers synchronously with the master flash
• Press the button for 2 sec. and set the flash to S1 mode with the
adjusting wheel.
• With the adjusting wheel you can set the flash power manually, like:
• Press the zoom button, until
the zoom setting in the display
starts flashing
• Use adjusting wheel to make
the power setting
• Press the Set button to save.
5. S2 Mode – The flash triggers with the 2. flash of the master flash
• Press the button for 2 sec. and set the flash to S2 mode with the
adjusting wheel. In this mode you operate the flash as a Slave flash, so
that you can work with several flashes at the same time.

6. TTL Mode – automatic function.
The settings are taken on by the camera. Only with Canon (FEC, FEB, FEL,
HSS), with Nikon (FEC, HSS, FV) you can adjust the adjustable zoom
(pay attention to the correct flash setting in the menu guidance or your
camera – read the operating instructions for the camera for this purpose).
• Press the Mode button to change to TTL-mode.
• Use the adjusting wheel to adjust the corresponding channels.
FEC FEB
Exposure correction:
• FEB (Flash Exposure Bracketing) function only on Canon
• In the FEC setting hold the SET button depressed
• Use the adjusting wheel to make the desired correction.
• Press the SET button to save the settings.
High-Speed Sync
• Press the Highspeed button
• Pay attention to overheating of the flash. Display reading. Allow the unit to
cool down for a few minutes after activating the overheating protection.
• Nikon controls the Highspeed function differently to Canon, please read
the operating instructions for your camera.
Second-Curtain Sync
