FUNCTION
When all the leads and the shunt have been connected according to the wiring diagram, the instrument will display
00,0, the Ah value. By pushing the push button you can step by step get the required symbol Ah, A, U or Clr, see
below:

Zeroing of the amperehour counter should be made after the batteries have been charged with a separate battery
charger or after a long running time with engine and its generator.
NOTE: The charging time varies with charger or generator size, current regulators, wiring dimensions, battery,
battery type, battery age, etc. Monitor the charging progress by checking the electrolyte density.

INSTRUMENT DISPLAY
Number of Ampere hours (Ah) having been used.
The minus sign indicates the current presently being taken out of
the battery. Display without the minus sign means current in A
going into the battery.
Voltage over the battery terminals.
Clearing of the amperehour counting. Step forward with the push-
button till Clr is shown in the display. Push the release. Hold the
button down for about 3 seconds. Clr will shift to Cld. The counter
is now set to zero. Release the button, the display will show Ah
(shortly) and then 00,0. Clr = clear, Cld = cleared.
